TEMPORARY LIQUIDITY GUARANTEE PROGRAM
HERITAGE BANKING GROUP is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts as well as certain eligible NOW accounts which earn .50% (.25% after June 30, 2010) annual interest or less are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

In order to have overdraft coverage on your ATM and Debit
card transactions you must opt-in. This Federal Regulation
went into effect August 15, 2010.

If you did not opt-in, we can no longer cover overdrafts
on your ATM and Debit card transactions. This means that
your Debit card will be declined wherever you shop and at
the ATM if you do not have sufficient funds in your account.
